Haiku Story

Based on the Haiku of the great Japanese master of the XVII century “Bashô”, who transforms the appreciation of nature, with his zen point of view, that makes everybody has a self-interior sight. Dreams are always colorful with lots of tints... after going for them like bold warriors, emerge from them the grass, green like hope, where the spikes find each other, and when they are moved by the wind, bring peace and relief for the achievement.

My Wonderful Path

I am from Mexico City. I had a career as an actuary. When I was returning to Mexico after living for almost four years in Brazil I was especially attracted by flower design. I have always loved plants and flowers. I studied in “Federación Mexicana de Jardinería y Diseño Floral”, and as I learned more I was more passionate about flowers.

A Future in Flowers

I decided that I wanted to have a future in flowers. Then I took several workshops with top floral designers like Gregor Lersch. I took the EMC certification, and have been a mentor there. All these great experiences help me a lot to become better and more eager and passionate. I have been an exhibitor in Argentina in “The International Demonstration of Floral Art”, in Mexico, several times in “Festival Flores y Jardines” and in The Biannual exhibition of “Federación Mexicana de Jardinería y Diseño Floral”. Also in exhibitions of Gardens Clubs, and in Belgium as a team at Fleuramour.

A Fulfilling Event

This huge floral event is so fulfilling as a floral designer, I guess all designers missed it this year. When you are so passionate you only want to become better, good things can come your way. That's how I got published on the cover of “Floral“ magazine of Mexico and in Fleur Creatif. I have also been a teacher in a symposium for flower shops and in “Federación Mexicana de Jardinería y Diseño Floral”. The big fortune came to me when I could be part of the first Masterclass Bloom Up of Tom de Houwer. He gave us a stage during this "Haiku In Bloom" in the biggest Japanese Garden in Europe. I keep on walking on this wonderful path to show beauty through flowers.
