I'm so happy with Decofresh launching this new rose Pimms! It's a beauty in form and color and for a floral designer, it's a real gift once again. Really, I'm in awe when I see the collection Decofresh is offering the florist. And these hues all together in this one rose Pimms is amazing.   Let's Blow up the Volume With New Rose Pimms From Decofresh - A Rose Is a Rose Is a Rose - Article on Thursd (19)   Let's Blow up the Volume With New Rose Pimms From Decofresh - A Rose Is a Rose Is a Rose - Article on Thursd (2)

A Rose Is a Rose Is a Rose - But This New Rose Pimms From Decofresh Is Special to Me

It is a funny thing for me that this random flower makes me always come back to her, time and time again. A rose is a flower that will always fascinate me. As the contrast of the thorns and the soft petals are the things that I will come to every time again. This Decofresh Rose Pimms has a nice soft and warm golden color on the inside, turning peachy, dirty pink on the outside. It's almost as if in flowers they know what's going to be fashionable in clothing. That's crazy because it's a really long process to grow a rose.

Creating Process

The creating process we go for here is about being honest. About that a rose is a rose. So if we do roses, we do it full-on. You see a wild rosebush you just want to just touch and feel and smell the scent. This is what leads to the idea of a complete bloom moment, an overflow of flowering. An exaggerated moment. Forms and shapes will always follow the round design language. Multiple blooming stages can be sculptured by folding the petals and blowing up the rose petals. Each time I am deeply impressed by the effect it gives to the design.

Techniques With Decofresh' Pimms Roses

Working in Layers is my way to work. I start from a minimal setting and add one more layer, one more flower. And in further steps, I also take things away, if it feels ‚too much’. This also helps me to not overthink. I see this as positive selfish actions in the design process. To be able to just flow with the design, and not think too much about the outcome. Because the process is what it is about to grow in my art. We have so many techniques and construction guidelines in our head, that after we learned and proofed, the way to be happy with what we do is to be able to feel the action.

Blow Up the Volume

Techniques I use for opening up the roses feel as they have this meditating flow on them. With the idea of making them more natural. It's a funny thing that floral designers always are drawn to go back to a natural idea. In the end, most of the creations bring us back to nature, to a state of nature. Whether it is full bloom, flourish, or perishability. You cannot work without the connection to rich nature. As in the process we go with full bloom. So we want to open the roses and let them shine their light. Let them be the most possible beauteousness. So we create a stage for each flower and put them in the best spotlight. This is for me a way to also honor each and every flower, that was grown and cultivated with so much work.   Let's Blow up the Volume With New Rose Pimms From Decofresh - A Rose Is a Rose Is a Rose - Article on Thursd (18)

Effects Bring Emotions

We are constantly looking for more. As we do in our life, we do in our designs. So finding new things or even things put in new ways, is hard. We all know that. Because there is so much out in the world. So we as artists have to balance. A load of ideas that stroll through our heads every day. And also what is new, what did we see and want to create in our own way. What is the thing we want to create? Which flower, which color. Some days it is easy. Just have that one idea, you just go for it. Other days not. Mostly I like to just be quiet. Be on my own, stroll. Have a good talk, read. And then it hits me and the idea is in my head. But that isn't the end of the progress. This is just the begging. The journey starts to make what's in your head, really. And I think that's the most incredible thing about our job. We make it happen.   Buy these roses at Deofresh Button on Thursd
